Deadline rule
Application must be submitted on or before the license expiration date; missing it by 30 days or more requires the Late Renewal Process (contact Education Department within 30 days of deadline to avoid losing qualifications).

IMS Level 1 completion confers a CHEK license (Individual Professional License to all students on course completion; CHEK Practitioner License when IMS + HLC tracks are both completed). Annual renewal requires: 15 PDCs earned during the license period (CHEK courses/workshops, CHEK System training progressions, or other relevant education providers where appropriate), online renewal application listing course name, organisation, PDC value and completion date; payment of the annual fee; current hands-on CPR certification and current liability insurance. Late Renewal Process waives PDCs but requires a US$120 fee plus passing an exam or submitting a case history for the highest-level Advanced Training Program completed in each ATP category; license then renews for one year from conferral.
