Deadline rule
Submit the renewal application on or before the date your license expires; if missed by 30 days or more, the Late Renewal Process is required (contact Education Department within 30 days of deadline to avoid losing qualifications).

IMS Level 5 graduates hold a CHEK Professional/Practitioner license that must be renewed annually: earn 15 PDCs during the license period, complete the online renewal application, pay the annual fee for the license type, and hold current hands-on CPR certification and current liability insurance. PDCs can come from CHEK Institute courses/workshops, training progressions within the CHEK System, or other relevant education providers where appropriate. Late Renewal Process requires no PDCs — pay US$120 and pass the exam (or submit a case history) for the highest-level ATP completed in each category; license then renewed for one year from conferral.
