Certification is valid 2 years from issue date; renewal available from 90 days before expiration up to 6 months after expiration. Failure to renew within 6 months after expiration requires retaking the 100-question certification exam ($49.99).

Renewal = purchase the $25 FiTOUR Continuing Education Credit course (includes online study material) and pass a 25-question multiple choice/true-false renewal exam (3-hour limit, one attempt; 75% minimum). Retest/2nd exam is $25 and must be purchased within 6 months of the original exam. FiTOUR does not require continuing education credits from other organizations to renew. New certificate is valid 2 years from the date of passing the renewal exam; no CEC certificate is issued for the renewal course.
