Renewal available in the account 'Renewals' page starting 90 days prior to the certification expiration date and up to 6 months after the expiration date; new certificate expiration is two years from the date the renewal exam is passed. Failure to renew within 6 months after expiration requires recertification by retaking the 100-question certification exam ($49.99).

Each FiTOUR certification must be renewed every two years by purchasing the $25.00 FiTOUR Continuing Education Credit (renewal) course and passing its 25-question multiple choice/true-false exam (75% minimum, 3 consecutive hour time limit, one attempt; retest $25 available within 6 months). No numeric CEU/contact-hour total is stated for renewal — completion of the renewal course exam is the requirement.
