Renewal & CEU requirements
IYCA's current CEU policy states: "IYCA Certificates no longer require CEUs. This means that your IYCA Certificates will not expire." No renewal cycle, CEU total, ethics, or CPR requirement is stated for the CSAS. Access to digital course materials is lifetime unless otherwise stated. The CSAS product page describes only initial certification requirements (age 18+, high school diploma or equivalent, 75-question non-proctored online exam at 70%+, complete within 365 days of purchase; $50 retest fee) and does not mention any recertification.
CEU recognition
- IYCA (legacy CEU Providers page) — accepts ceus fromArchived IYCA CEU Providers page lists IYCA-approved CEU events/programs (e.g., CPTN Workshop Series, MSU Spartan Strength & Conditioning Clinic 4 CEUs, The Athlete Summit 6 CEUs, Resistance Band Training Certification Level 1 12 CEUs) and states IYCA has pre-approved many major certifications, with others submitted via the IYCA CEU Provider Application (CEU@iyca.org). Appears superseded by the current policy that IYCA certificates no longer require CEUs.
