Certification valid 2 years; may renew up to 6 months before expiration while keeping original expiration date. CECs must be earned after the certification's renewal date; excess hours beyond 20 do not carry over. Renewal accepted up to 6 months after expiration with late fee; after 6 months the certification is forfeited and the course must be retaken (or an extension applied for).

Renew by submitting 20 hours of CECs earned after the prior renewal date. Per the CEC Video Courses FAQ, 2 of the 20 credits must come from SCW Fitness (MANIA conferences, SCW CEC online video courses, or SCW online certifications).
