Certification valid 2 years; may renew up to 6 months before expiration while keeping original date. If not renewed by expiration, a $20 late fee applies; there is a 6-month grace period after expiration, after which the certification is forfeited and the course must be retaken (or an extension applied for).

Must submit 20 hours of CECs earned after the certification's renewal date; excess hours above 20 do not carry over. CECs can come from MANIA conventions, other SCW live/online certifications, SCW Approved Providers, or fitness-related accredited college/university courses. CPR credits are not accepted toward the 20 CECs and a CPR card copy is no longer required. Proof/documentation of CE must be retained.
