Certification valid 2 years. May renew up to 6 months before expiration and keep original expiration date. Late renewal allowed up to 6 months after expiration (with late fee); after 6 months the certification is forfeited and the course must be retaken (or an extension applied for).

Applies to SCW certifications generally, including this online certification. Must submit 20 hours of CECs earned after the certification's renewal date; excess hours beyond 20 do not carry over. Per the CEC video FAQ, 2 of the 20 credits must come from SCW Fitness. CECs can be earned at MANIA conventions, other SCW live/online certifications, SCW CEC online video courses, or SCW Approved Providers. CPR card copy no longer required and CPR credits are not accepted toward the 20 CECs. Retain documentation of CE earned.
