For StrongFirst instructor certifications: must be registered for a recertification option prior to the current certification expiration date (expiration date viewable on instructor profile).

Plan Strong™ is a StrongFirst professional seminar (Special Event), not an instructor certification with its own stated expiration/renewal cycle in the evidence. Its role in renewal is that attendees who hold a current StrongFirst instructor certification can renew it onsite at no additional cost with registration (Unified Recertification testing completed during the weekend; spots limited, availability varies by event). StrongFirst instructors may otherwise recertify by re-attending a certification, attending a special event, assisting at a certification (no tuition), or online recertification. Unified Recertification lets multiple modalities be renewed at one time for one price; achieving/maintaining StrongFirst Elite (all four certifications) yields a 3-year expiration date for all four. Expired instructors may re-attend a previously held certification for $750 (proof of expired certification required; online recert and cert assistant paths not eligible) or register for a new certification at current price.
