NCCA — National Commission for Certifying Agencies
The accreditation arm of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE). Accredits certification programs against the NCCA Standards; maintains a public directory of accredited programs with expiration dates.

What accreditation means — and does not mean
Accreditation means the credentialing program was evaluated against an accreditor's published standards (governance, exam development, psychometrics, recertification policy). Directory-confirmed means we verified the listing in the accreditor's own directory ourselves — we never repeat a provider's self-claim as confirmed accreditation.
Accreditation does not mean a credential is better for your goals, harder, more respected by a specific employer, or endorsed by us. Some rigorous credentials are unaccredited by design (degree-linked or niche programs), and CEU recognition between organizations is a separate relationship we record separately — it is never accreditation.
Accreditation claims we could not confirm in an accreditor's directory are recorded as unknown — they never appear here, and they are never presented as accredited. Methodology
